On January 14, the world's first 100,000-ton deepwater semi-submersible production and oil storage platform - "Deep Sea One" energy station, which was independently developed and built by China, was delivered and set sail in Yantai, Shandong Province. Its successful delivery marks a major breakthrough in China's deepwater oil and gas field development capacity and deepwater marine engineering equipment construction level, which is of great significance in enhancing China's marine resources development capacity, safeguarding national energy security and supporting the strategy of a strong ocean state.

"To contribute to the smooth commissioning of Lingshui 17-2 project.


He stressed that along with the main battlefield of the Lingshui 17-2 project shifting from land to sea, Haiyang Engineering has to fulfill its contractual responsibilities with strong organizational guarantee and project execution, coordinate epidemic prevention and control and project construction, complete the subsequent tasks such as offshore installation, commissioning and trial production of the semi-submersible platform with high quality, and make the Lingshui 17-2 project a high-quality project in the field of marine engineering construction.

The "Deep Sea One" energy station will be towed south from the Yellow Sea under the joint tow of three high-powered tugs, and will arrive at the sea of Lingshui in the southeast of Hainan Island in February to implement the on-site installation of oil and gas production facilities for the development of China's first 1,500-meter deep-water self-owned gas field - Lingshui 17-2 gas field.


The "Deep Sea One" energy station consists of two parts: the upper block and the hull, which is built according to the high quality design standard of "30 years without returning to the dock for maintenance" and designed to have a fatigue life of 150 years, and can withstand a super typhoon of one in 100 years. The energy station is equipped with nearly 200 sets of key oil and gas processing equipment, while the world's first semi-submersible platform column oil storage, with a maximum storage capacity of nearly 20,000 cubic meters, realizing the integrated function of condensate production, storage and export, with good economic benefits and technical advantages.


The total weight of the energy station exceeds 50,000 tons, and the maximum projected area is equivalent to the size of two standard soccer fields. The total height reaches 120 meters, which is equivalent to 40-story building height. The maximum displacement reaches 110,000 tons, which is equivalent to three medium-sized aircraft carriers. The total length of hull engineering welds is up to 600,000 meters, which can surround the sixth ring of Beijing three times; the length of cables used is over 800 kilometers, which can surround Hainan Island one week.

It is understood that the project achieves 3 world-class innovations in the construction stage, uses 13 domestic first technology, overcomes more than 10 industry problems, and is a masterpiece in the field of Chinese marine engineering construction.


The three world-class innovations of "Deep Sea One" energy station include: the world's first column oil storage, a total of four condensate tanks (single tank volume of 5,000 square), respectively located in the four columns of the hull; the world's largest span of semi-submersible platform truss-type group block technology, the use of truss-type structure design, the largest two support axis span of 49.5 meters The world's first wet type semi-submersible pier large closure technology on land.


The 13 domestic first technologies of "Deep Sea One" energy station: the overall design technology of the first 1500-meter deep water semi-submersible platform; the design and installation technology of the first 1500-meter deep water polyester cable mooring system; the design and testing technology of the floating body structure fatigue without docking for maintenance for 30 years; the first 1500-meter deep water oil and gas platform in China. The design, laying and back connection technology of the steel suspension chain line riser for oil and gas mixing at 1500m water depth for the first time; the slide assembly and precision control technology of 30,000 tons hull for the first time in China; the hydraulic slide shoe transverse slide loading technology of 30,000 tons hull for the first time in China; the design technology of the integration of the overall scheme of underwater facilities at 1500m water depth for the first time in China; the integration of underwater mixing and transmission at 1500m water depth for the first time in China The first time in China, the design and manufacturing technology of 1500 meters deep water sacrificial anode; the first time in China, the design and manufacturing technology of 1500 meters deep water 18″ large diameter seamless submarine pipeline; the first time in China, the integrated manufacturing technology of 1500 meters deep water large underwater structures; the first time in China, the design and manufacturing technology of 1500 meters deep water polyester cable; the first time in China, 1500 meters deep water The design and manufacturing technology of steel suspension line riser in water depth for the first time in China.

The project team faced great challenges in quality management and safety assurance due to the high quality standards and technical difficulties of the construction of the energy station, as well as the onslaught of the New Crown Pneumonia epidemic during the critical construction period. The CNOOC project team insisted on both "epidemic prevention and production", organized scientifically, mobilized efficiently, adopted closed management strategy in time, and organized more than 4,000 people to work around the clock during the peak operation period, which shortened the project duration to 21 months, the shortest time for international projects of the same scale.

The "Deep Sea One" energy station has very strict requirements on painting quality and precision control, the group block and hull connection point spacing shall not exceed 6 mm. According to Zhong Wenjun, deputy chief engineer of Haiyang Engineering and chief engineer of Lingshui 17-2 project, through the successful implementation of the hull assembly project, China's semi-submersible platform hull assembly rapid loading and precision control technology has reached the world's advanced level, a number of deepwater construction technology breakthrough 1500 meters, a comprehensive mastery of more than 10 kinds of underwater key equipment such as the center pipe sink independent manufacturing technology, super-large deepwater equipment engineering turnkey capacity significantly improved. At the same time, the project also introduced the personnel positioning system, carried out safety grid management without dead ends, overcame the difficulties of restricted space operations and cross operations, and achieved the remarkable achievement of 17 million man-hours without accidents.


The "Deep Sea No.1" energy station will be installed and commissioned in the sea of Lingshui for more than 4 months, and is expected to be ready for production in June this year. After the Lingshui 17-2 gas field is put into operation, it will supply 3 billion cubic meters of deep-sea natural gas to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Qiong each year by relying on the offshore gas pipeline network artery, which can meet one quarter of the demand for gas in the Greater Bay Area.
