According to the agreement, by 2025, guangdong will complete the renovation of about 1,500 LNG ships and the construction of 19 LNG refueling stations. After the completion of the project, the annual demand for LNG will be about 400,000 tons, and the consumption of LNG will be about 390,000 tons.
According to preliminary estimates, after the implementation of the project, the emissions of nitrogen oxides and particulate matter from ships in guangdong province can be reduced by 12.6 percent and 19.5 percent, respectively.The implementation of this project is of great significance for promoting the prevention and control of air pollution. It fully reflects the strength of CSSC in the scientific and technological innovation of green power, and demonstrates the mission of CSSC in "serving the country strategy".Leaders of relevant departments of guangdong provincial people's government, relevant departments of China national shipping corporation headquarters and relevant member units, and relevant departments and member units of China national offshore oil corporation headquarters attended the above activities.
